So I've just received a phone call and theres this minister-involved function held at Singapore Island Club or of some sort next Sat. And yep, I'm in it.

Okay, I have now become a part-time banqueting waitress. Not that I enjoy the job very much(it is dirty and totally disgusting work), but it is the excitement that drives me, haha, as well as the money partly. Hmmm, but I like the fact that each banquet is just like a rehearsed performance, where the waiters/waitresses are the like dancers, while the guests, the ever-irritating audiences.
Of course, how can a performance be flawless? Haha, yep through the span of 2 days of work, there were several glitches like scalding myself slightly, or eelen spilling half a cup(or teapot?) of tea on the table, and etc...

Though, the only difference is that for a banquet you only get at the most an hour to acquire all the skills needed, like using the damn fork and spoon to portion out every dish equally into 10 plates and memorising the different kinds of sauces for every dish.

Oh, and I realised that the guests, especially during wedding banquets can have NEVER, never enough drinks. )):

Yep, promos have come by and went, hopefully gone forever.
